The coronavirus situation: Operational report from Bring - 1 April, 2020
- Finland's borders are partially closed which may cause delays.
- The demand for home deliveries has increased significantly which can lead to difficulties in keeping promised delivery times and time windows as agreed.
- The requirements for signatures are waived for door delivery via Posti. The driver rings the doorbell, places the parcel at the door and waits at a distance until the parcel is received. The delivery is registered in Posti's system.
- The retention period is extended to 21 days for parcels that have been submitted to a pickup point after 23 March.
The coronavirus situation: Operational report from Bring - 31 March, 2020
No major changes for the operations have been reported in the past 24 hours. Delivery of parcels and goods is running basically as usual throughout the country. Some delays may occur.
Operational report from Bring in connection to the coronavirus situation - 30 March, 2020
Our operation is running mainly as usual throughout the country. A big increase for home deliveries of goods can lead to delays in some places.
The latest operational report:
- There's a great demand for home deliveries of goods. Delays may therefore occur.
- When ordering a home delivery, there will be no signing on the driver's PDAs. The driver will instead register the delivery and GPS coordinates are recorded automatically upon delivery.
- If the pickup point is closed, the parcel will be moved automatically to another pickup point nearby.
- Transports of personal protective equipment may once again cross the borders to Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The EU Commission earlier imposed an export ban on this, but they have now granted exceptions for a number of countries. The exception applies to the EEA countries Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, among others.
- For some parts of the operation, the employees will be relocated to other areas where the need for staff is greater, to ensure that there are enough resources where they are needed the most.
